About Us

Founded in February 2021, The Voltaire Foundation of North America's mission is to assist in ending the needless suffering and exploitation of animals for human consumption. 

Following in the footsteps of Voltaire, Pythagoras, Einstein, DaVinci, Tesla, Hippocrates, Edison, Gandhi, and many, many more, we believe that torturing animals is wrong and that compassion towards animals and humans is an aspirational principle.

We intend to make a difference by aiding in the removal of agricultural gag laws and other factory farm legislation, helping provide transparency on animal welfare to the public, and supporting innovative enterprises that bring us closer to an ethical marketplace where animals are not exploited.
